Vent Out. Peace Out. Don't Get Found Out.

Shitty day at work? You're in the right place

VentOutHQ is an anonymous space for corporate people to vent. You send in what's getting to you about work, we take out anything that could identify you, and it goes up on our social channels for people who've had the same kind of day. Think of us as your new HR department. The kind that never tells your manager.

Get it out. Get heard. Get on with your evening.

You vent

One box, no login. No safety moment, no values moment, no performance review. Type the thing. Send it. It takes about as long as pretending to look busy.

Vents a stranger can follow go up on Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube. Anything that could identify you, your manager or your company comes out first.

The community answers

Get support from people who've had the same week. Some of them will back you up, some will make you laugh about it, and most of the time it's both. Either way you find out it's not just you.

You remember you're a person

Not a resource. Not a headcount. Not a line in someone's capacity plan. Just a person who had a rough Tuesday, same as thousands of others.

Don't get found out. Here's how you won't.

  • No account, no email, no password. There's nothing to sign up to and nothing to sign into.
  • We never ask where you work. Not your company, not your team, not your job title.
  • You never have to name anyone or anywhere. Vent about the situation, not the people. If a name or a company slips in anyway, it comes out before anything goes up.
  • Nothing traces back to you. Not to your boss, not to your colleagues, not to us.

VentOutHQ is a release valve — it isn't HR, legal advice, or therapy. If something at work has crossed a line, or if work is affecting your health, please talk to someone who can actually act on it: a union rep, a solicitor, your GP, or someone you trust.

Just be you.

You've held it together all week. You deserve somewhere to put it down. No name, no judgement, no notes from HR.

The questions people ask before they press send.

Does every vent get posted?

Not every one, but not because yours isn’t good enough. What goes up is what’s clear: the kind a stranger can follow without knowing your office. Anything not posted is kept for three months, stripped of anything identifying, in case it fits a later series. After that it’s deleted.

How will I know if mine goes up?

You won't get a message, because there's no way to reach you. That's the point. Follow the accounts and you'll see it if it lands.

How long until it appears?

There's no queue and no schedule. Yours might appear the same week or two months later. If it hasn't gone up within three months, it's deleted.

Can I get a vent taken down?

Yes. Email us with the vent as you originally wrote it, before we edited it, and it comes down. Only you know that version, so it’s how we tell it’s yours without knowing who you are.

Is this actually anonymous?

Yes, technically as well as in spirit. The form doesn't ask for an email and doesn't log your IP address. This page sets no cookies and stores nothing about you. What goes up is the words only, with names and companies removed.

What if I need real help?

Then this isn't the place, and that's fine. This isn't HR, legal advice or therapy. If something at work has crossed a line, or work is affecting your health, talk to someone who can act on it: a union rep, a solicitor, your GP.
